What is ?

RefWorks is web-based bibliographic software package that enables you to:

  • Organize your research
  • Include citations while you write your paper
  • Build a bibliography in a variety of formats
  • Import references from many data sources
  • Create bibliographies in different document formats (Word, RTF, HTML, etc.)

Being web-based means no software to download and update, and you can access your personal account from any computer connected to the internet.

How do I start using ?

To begin using RefWorks, you must create an account through Dickinson College. Follow these instructions:

  1. Go to from an on-campus computer.
  2. Click on Sign Up for and Individual Account.
  3. Enter the appropriate information and click on Register.
