Blackboard Course Management System (available through May 2010)
Dickinson will replace Blackboard with Moodle beginning May 2010. During the 2009-10 academic year faculty may choose to use either Blackboard or Moodle, however we would recommend that any new courses be developed in Moodle. TO learn more about Moodle click here. Content from old Blackboard courses will still be available. Any faculty member may request to have a Blackboard course site created for any course that they are teaching. LIS staff will help faculty to set up their Blackboard course site, create and insert materials into the course, and provide insights into the best pedagogical uses of Blackboard. Students can find help on how to access their Blackboard course sites and how to use the Blackboard tools.
