Statistical Insight

Statistical data and publications summarizing statistical findings. Includes data collected from U.S. federal and state government sources, private organizations, and intergovernmental organizations. Features descriptive abstracts, detailed indexing, full-text PDFs of source documents and tables, and down-loadable spreadsheets containing table data. Contains publications from 1973 to the present, with some full-text.

American Fact Finder : From the United States Census Bureau, this site is an excellent gateway for accessing the 2000 U.S. Census Summary File. It is one of the best sources for obtaining local census data by either block or track.

From the U.S. Census Bureau. Facts about people, business, and geography based on the last census. Both state and national statistics are available.

American Community Survey
Provides annual data covering a wide range of social, economic and housing characteristics for the population by a multitude of demographic variables. The data are available for more than 7,000 areas, including all congressional districts as well as counties, cities, metro areas and American Indian and Alaska Native areas of 65,000 population or more.
